Between publishing a paper and securing a Shared Equipment Grant Proposal, Dr. Mayron Faria, Assistant Professor of Exercise Science, is already hard at work making big waves at Lyon College.
Dr. Mayron Faria joined the Lyon College community in January as the newest Assistant Professor of Exercise Science, but he was hard at work even before he stepped on campus! Since the beginning of 2022, Faria has not only finished publishing a collaborative academic paper that he worked on in Brazil, but he has also secured the Arkansas IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (Arkansas INBRE) grant that will be used to bolster the College’s Exercise Science equipment.Read more about Dr. Faria’s achievements below!
